Overview

What we deliver

A proper garden room is a year-round building — fully insulated, properly wired, weather-tight and built to last decades. We build bespoke garden rooms and convert existing outbuildings into offices, studios, gyms and guest spaces, from the base up.

01

Built like a house, not a shed

Our garden rooms have proper foundations, structural timber frames, full insulation, breathable membranes and tested glazing. They stay warm in winter, cool in summer and dry all year.

02

Power, light and data

We trench in armoured cable from the consumer unit, install a sub-board in the building, run sockets, lighting and data — all certified by a qualified electrician under Part P.

03

Converting what's already there

Old garages and outbuildings can often be converted instead of demolished. We assess the existing structure, upgrade foundations and walls where needed, and bring the build up to a usable, insulated finish.

Common questions

FAQs

Do I need planning permission?+

Most garden rooms are permitted development if they're under 2.5m high near boundaries, single storey, and not used as a separate dwelling. We'll check your specific site.

Can I run heating to it?+

Yes — many clients use efficient electric panel heaters or air-conditioning units. Plumbed heating is possible but rarely necessary on a well-insulated build.

How long does a garden room take?+

Typically 4–8 weeks from base to handover, depending on size and finish.
